Hi there! New to weavy! I’m a huge webflow fan and I’m creating a marketplace/networking low-code site using zapier, airtable, parabola, etc. Is weavy Webflow compatible?
Sincerely, Emily
Hi Emily!
Welcome to our forum!
Cool, what kind of users are you planning to attract?
Anyways, I dont have a straight up answer for you - I will educate myself in the webflow service and get back to you.
Hi @emilywebflow!
I took a little look into Webflow and it seems like you can add custom JavaScript code so you should be able to add Weavy into your site with a little bit of code. This is something we could also help you out with if you’d like! Just let us know.
Best,
Dave
I’m learning about marketplace websites that can be made through webflow, zapier and airtable and I know that a user to user messaging feature would be really helpful!
Hi @dave That would be really helpful! Maybe you could record your screen as you add the custom code to a free trial of webflow just so I can watch you do that? Is that possible? Thanks for responding!!
Hi @emilywebflow!
Since we are unfamiliar with webflow it would be best for you and me to hop on a call so I could show you what needs to go in and we can find it in webflow together.
Email me and let me know when you are available. Dave@weavy.com
Hi @dave ,
I am currently also looking to use weavy in webflow, however struggeling on how it could be implemented even after experimenting a bit with the JS code I found. Is there any specific documentation to it or do you remember how you managed to do it back then?
Would be very grateful for any guidance!!
Best,
Jerome
Hi @jeromegotweavy!
From my research on Webflow, there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to integrate Weavy properly and securely. This is mainly because you would need a custom server-side endpoint to get the user’s access token for Weavy. This is detailed in our authentication documentation.
I couldn’t find a way to create server-side code in Webflow, but you can utilize scripts located on another server, so that would be one way to do it. Here is the article I found about custom code - Custom code in head and body tags | Webflow University
Hope you’re having a great day!
